About Us

Hi, and welcome to Lockingeyes.com.

This isn’t a company project or a startup idea—it’s something deeply personal. I created this website because, like many of you, I’ve had moments in my life that slipped away before I ever found the courage to say a word.

For me, it started with countless mornings on the subway in Manhattan. I’d see the same people, the same faces, sometimes even feel a spark with someone sitting across from me. But I never said hello. Social anxiety has been a constant companion in my life, and while it might not show on the outside, it has shaped how I interact with the world. For years, I let these small, fleeting chances of connection pass me by. And yet, those moments stayed with me. They mattered. They reminded me that even if I couldn’t act on them, I was still capable of feeling something real.

I know I’m not the only one.

If you’ve ever locked eyes with someone on the train and thought, “Maybe tomorrow I’ll talk to them”—but then tomorrow never came.
If you’ve ever walked away from a stranger only to replay the moment again and again in your head.
If you’ve ever carried a quiet story in your heart, wondering if anyone else would understand.

Then this site is for you.

Lockingeyes.com is a space for people like us—for the dreamers, the introverts, the socially anxious, the ones who often feel brave on the inside but quiet on the outside. I built it to be a home for missed connections, untold stories, and reflections on love in all its uncertain, imperfect forms.

Here, you’ll find two main sections:

  • What Is Love – a blog where I write about love, connection, vulnerability, and the quiet ways relationships shape us. It’s not about grand theories or expert advice—it’s about honest thoughts, written from someone still figuring it all out.
  • Stories – a collection of letters and experiences shared by readers from all over. These are the moments that could have been, the small encounters that left a big impression, the feelings that never quite went away.

If you have a story you’d like to share, I would love to hear it. You don’t need to be a writer; you just need to be honest. You can send your story to [email protected], and with your permission, I’ll publish it so others can read and know they’re not alone.

My hope is simple: that this site becomes a place where people feel seen. Where the things we often keep inside—our regrets, our near-misses, our hopes—can find a voice. Because sometimes it helps just to know that other people carry the same weight, that other people have also stood in a crowded room and wished they were brave enough to speak.

This is not about fixing the past. It’s not about tracking people down or rewriting history. It’s about giving meaning to the moments we didn’t act on. About turning silence into stories, and loneliness into connection.

Maybe your story will resonate with someone across the country, or across the world. Maybe you’ll realize that what you thought was just your private regret is something many others share. Or maybe, simply writing it down will be enough.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading, for sharing, or even just for knowing that this site exists. You’re not alone in carrying the weight of missed connections, and together, maybe we can make that weight a little lighter.

Welcome to Lockingeyes.com. This space is yours, as much as it is mine.
